The hazard perception test is the second part of the driving theory test. After you have finished the multiple choice test you will be allowed a break of about three minutes before you watch a short video tutorial on the hazard perception test.
The test consists of fourteen short video clips which each last for about one minute. You will watch clips which are shown from a driver’s point of view and as each clip plays a hazard will develop which you need to identify.
When you identify the hazard you must click on it to identify it. Some clips have more than one hazard but you must be careful not to click too many times or may score zero.
To pass the test you must score at least 44 points out of a possible 75.
